Retail Profiling's field sales team worked with BOSCH to deliver in-store training to enhance staff knowledge and enrich their consumer's experience.
Project objectives
- Improve brand and product knowledge across MDA department and monitor progression through a development training plan
- Develop employee skills on how to apply knowledge to day-to-day sales conversations
- Meet with store management to explore opportunities & to ensure ‘buy-in’ to the training of store sales teams
- Build a programme around a step-by-step approach of training knowledge, check and observation.
Our solution
- Run a training programme made up of 3 core modules covering 39 feature-related topics delivered throughout 10 store visit rounds
- Monitor individual’s training journey and progression with assessments to see the application of knowledge in sales conversations with customers
- Log store managers’ comments, feedback, and insights on the training program and to observe store manager’s satisfaction with their team’s MDA selling skills
- Regular detailed reporting that accurately tracks colleagues progress through the training journey, allowing trainer to address any further gaps in colleagues’ knowledge.
KPI's and outcomes
- 85% of employees had increased knowledge of Bosch & Neff brands in store
- 85% of employees had an improvement on colleague’s perception of Bosch & NEFF brands
- 62% Increased in frequency of Bosch & NEFF featuring colleague’s sales conversations
- 100% Increased in Trainee confidence in selling Bosch & NEFF
- 72% Increased in degree of improvement of knowledge across the programme.
